rare budget option in downtown mutrah area

One of the few budget options in downtown Muscat area in a central location between Mutrah (souk 15 minute walk) and Mutrah (central bus station 30 minute walk). Set back off main road to keep down traffic noise. Has a pool which is bonus for a budget option

Given it is budget option the bed linen is old, with thin sheets with a few marks and the pillows starting to get lumpy. The corners of the rooms and high touch surfaces like around the light switches a bit dirty and marked etc but still reasonably pleasant and clean for a budget option of this price with good central location in Muscat.

A good place to stay if you plan on being out all day.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Beds were comfortable. Hot water worked. AC worked. Wifi was good.

Woke up to the strong smell of gas in the middle of the night. My friends in the room across the corridor reported the same thing. There was a large family staying in a room (there should be a limit on how many people can do that) and they were letting their children run, scream, and throw balls off the wall throughout the floor. I had one of those, "you get what you pay for" moments.

Good place for overnighting in Muscat

Hotel was convenient to the old town of Muscat. It was also near the Lulu Hypermarket. There is a nice pool area outside, but sadly we didn't have time to use it. Free parking.

We didn't end up walking into the old town, it would have probably taken 40 minutes (not 5 like the guy at the hotel said). There is a very strong fragrance smell in the lobby. The room itself was not very clean, but the beds were spotless and comfortable.

Good choice for a short stay

A very clean hotel - Spacious room - Comfortable bed - Nice swimming pool - Quite close to Muttrah by car

Be informed that if I am not mistaken there is no breakfast proposed and a GPS is rather useful to easily join the spot

Good value for money if you don’t mind imperfections

The location was convenient for me, and it was good value for the money if you don’t mind imperfection.

The hotel could do better with cleaning bathroom walls and edges.

Odd location but decent

Comfortable, quiet room. Free parking on site. Reasonable value for money for Muscat.

Odd location, reached by a sharp turn off a main road. A little too far to walk to Muttrah and nothing in the vicinity of the hotel in terms of food options. Weak water pressure in the shower.

It is quite old, the decoration is disgusting, cleaning was not perfect (there was blood on the walls) and I found a cokeroach in the bathroom

Great Value

It's in a walking distance to Mutrah corniche (15min). Its great value. The beds are VERY comfortable. Free dates and coffee in the lobby. Moderate wifi coverage and speed. Can recommend to anyone for several nights as a base point to discover Muscat area from. Not good for a regular vacation.

Remote location. Easy to drive to Mutrah, but complicated to get back to hotel. Not a very nice view from basic room's balcony. Nothing in the minibar. Low water pressure.

The hotel was ok.

The hotel was ok. Not bad but not exceptionnal either. The room was clean and there was a swimming pool. Staff members were helpfull as we didn't know how to put the air conditionning and we needed at some point to call a taxi so they did it for us.

The hotel was on the main road, quite far from mutrah Corniche and the only possibility to call a taxi was at the reception. There was no hot water in the room. The toilet paper roll was already used by previous travellers. The swimming pool was nice but surrounded by the high building so there was not a lot of light entering. The fire alarm rang and the staff members were shouting loudly.

Paid for a budget hotel - extremely reasonably priced Most importantly the rooms were clean and quiet

You really need to have your own transport - we rented a car if we didn't have a car, the location would have been unmanageable

Nice hotel but in a boring city.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room. The supermarket, restaurants and the souq are all within walking distance.

The main downside is the city not the hotel. It's very spread out with not much to see. Would only recommend for a night or two.

Facility and service meet the value of money. or its even more. Staffs were nice. and also amendities are good.

There were insects which means cleanliness was not well maintained apparently. and the internet is extremely slow. and I had to buy a sim and use 4g.

Won't see us again.

The swimming pool had no water. The rooms felt old and moldy. There were only 2 English tv channels. Staff was friendly. The hotel's location is weird and getting to it was quite sketchy.

not worthy stay

not worthy stay bad experience

difficult to reach the hotel the room was small and not clean and windows couldn’t be locked so it wasn’t safe especially when having children moreover, the indoor temprerure of the hotel was abit hot the staff were not helpful When returned to the hotel I found that the room had not been cleaned though I told them to do so ! Not to mention that they only serve breakfast ! So the delivery boy took over half an hour to deliver the order due to the distance and difficulty of accessing the hotel I think I won’t visit the hotel again
